I am Charlotte’s Web. When I read it I feel spectacular.

I am Oregon. When I go outside I feel breezy.

I am Wizards of Waverly Place. When I watch it I feel creative.

I am Marco Polo. When I play it I feel exiting.

I am my friend’s house. When I go there I feel amazing.

I am pants, shirts, and sweaters. When I wear them I feel warm.

My dad because he loves me and he takes care of me.

My mom because  she spends the time to come to springfeld all the way from Portland.

My sister because she loves to play with me.

The earth because we all need the earth.

My hamster Tony because he does not bite me nobody really.

Trees because they give us air.

My house because it keeps me warm.

My friends because they are so funny!

Did   you   know     that     wild     turkeys   eat   spiders and   grasshoppers.  Snakes  eat  baby  turkeys .  Did  you   know    that    boy   turkeys  fight   over   a   female turkeys.  Turkeys   know    to   stay    away  from  the   types   of   bugs   not  to   eat  and  the   types  of    snakes.  They   know  by   instinct. How a 3rd grader would change the world…

This week I asked the class to write about what they would change in the world if they could. Here is what two Room 4 students had to say…

I am going to change the world by turning it in to candy world.  The cement would be jawbreakers.  The wood would be chocolate. The grass would be mint and the houses would be ginger bread. The fog and the clouds will be cotton candy. The water would be chocolate milk. The plastic will be taffy and the poles would be candy canes.

If I could change something in the world I whould make kids have less homework . I whould let kids have more recess. I  would  make kids read more . And that’s what I whould  change in the world .

Family Fun Night

Moffitt students, family, and staff had a wonderful time at the first family fun night held at Skate World. There were about 400 friends and family members who showed up to this event. I had no idea there were so many talented skaters at Moffitt!  Below are some photos from the night as well as student comments about their fun night:

I went to skate world on Thursday. Wen we got to skate world it was crowded with people. My school rented out the hole place. My mom could not take me so my cousin Brooklyn took me. I got nachos and a snowcone.  I brought my phone and took lots of pictures of my friends. I could not skate very well so I took off my right skate  and put on my right shoe. I started pushing myself like a scooter.

My friend Hailey  fell lot so did I. Then it was time to go home. I forgot I was spending the night at Brooklyn’s house. This day was awesome. It was the funest day ever.
